Beginners.
Never played? Start with an hour on the range with John Rogers, PGA Professional, at Thurgoona Country Club Resort, Albury.
Your first lesson
Every lesson is an hour, which gives John time to watch your ball and start getting it to do what you want. It’s about results, not the prettiest swing.
- One-on-one with John, on the undercover range, so rain rarely stops a lesson.
- No membership needed: lessons are open to members and the public.
- $100 for an hour. Juniors under 16, $80. Junior lessons
No clubs yet?
Book anyway and tell John. Left-handed? Tell him that too.
What to bring and wear
- Your clubs, if you have them.
- Golf shoes with soft spikes, or running shoes. No metal spikes.
- Neat, clean clothes, such as slacks or tailored walking shorts. The club’s dress rules apply on the range.
- Water and a hat.
After your first lesson
John coaches every part of the game: full swing, short game, bunkers, putting and course management. More about lessons
